Original ideas · A little room to explore
Creative Learning Lab
Not another worksheet to finish. Notice a pattern, explore a thoughtful choice, or mix a small mission to try away from the screen.
Choose one activity together. There is no timer, leaderboard or need to get through every card.
Pattern Detective
Look for the rule, then choose what belongs in the gap. Shapes have names, not just colours.
A pattern to explore together
Rule: Repeat circle → square.
Circle · square · circle · square · circle · ?
What comes next? Say, sign, point or draw your answer. It is a square: it completes the next circle–square pair.
This example also works without the interactive controls.
Round 1 of 3
What belongs in the gap?
Three original rounds. No score or speed challenge; a hint is always welcome.
Kindness Choices
A small family situation. More than one thoughtful choice. What could you try?
Think it through, without a score
Someone in your family is using the pencil you wanted. You could ask to use it when they finish, choose a different activity, or ask an adult to help arrange turns.
Discuss which option suits the people involved. Borrowing needs permission; taking a pause is okay.
You can pass a situation or return to it another time.
Situation 1 of 3
Not a test of being “good”. No one has to share a treasured item, hug, or speak before they feel ready.
Mission Mixer
Pick a way to create and a theme. Get a short, practical mission to take off screen.
Try a secret-pattern postcard
- Draw or imagine a postcard with a circle–square border.
- Leave one place blank. Invite someone to say, sign, point or draw the missing shape.
- Explain the rule together, then swap who makes the next pattern.
Paper and a pencil are optional: describe or imagine your postcard instead.
Nine combinations. No shopping, cutting, running or uploading needed. Use a seated, quiet version whenever you prefer.
Keep it comfortable: These are original English family activities, not Arabic, Tajweed or religious teaching and not teacher-reviewed. Adapt or skip anything that does not suit the learner. Adults can help with reading; saying, signing, pointing, drawing or imagining are all welcome. This lab does not ask for names, answers to submit or a completed worksheet. Its controls do not send, save or track your choices.
Free learning you can use now
These existing resources remain freely accessible. Use them to revisit a lesson or discuss a starting point with a teacher.

- 24-page English A4 PDF; static printable. Print and write by hand, or annotate in your PDF reader. Phone viewing may need zoom.

- Planned launch price:
- £4.99, one-time.

For teacher-assigned Quran practice
- Agree a starting point. Ask the teacher which page or item to revisit and what suitable practice looks like for this learner.
- Keep it manageable. Follow the teacher's instructions, give the learner room to pause and avoid turning the sheet into a race.
- Note questions, not guesses. If a sound or instruction is unclear, write it down and ask the teacher rather than repeatedly guessing.
- Review the next step. Discuss what was actually observed before adding more material. Different learners progress at different speeds.
A note for parents and guardians
Use your own contact details when enquiring. Keep practice notes within the family and agreed teacher contact; do not share children's full names, school details or sensitive information in public comments or resource requests.
Our Privacy Policy explains the website enquiry process. No new signup or personal-data form is added to this library.
Before you choose a resource
Are the existing Qaida lessons still free?
Yes. The existing online Noorani Qaida lessons and Arabic alphabet tool remain available through the links above. They are not being moved behind a new resource paywall.
Can I download the new printables now?
Yes. All 29 activity and parent-support PDFs shown in the free library are available now, without signup or payment. The separate 24-page 14-day family practice planner is prepared, but its sale and private paid download are not open. This page does not take orders or payments.
Which resources are free and which are paid?
The 29 activity and parent-support PDFs, existing Qaida lessons and Arabic alphabet tool are free. The separate 24-page family practice planner has a planned one-time launch price of £4.99; sales are not open. Neither the new printables nor the paid planner is an Arabic or Tajweed teaching course. No teacher review, written teacher report or classes are included.
Do I have to send you a completed sheet?
No. Keep completed sheets privately within your family. You can choose to discuss a question with your agreed teacher; no upload or completed-sheet submission is required. Do not include children's full names, school details or other identifying information.
Can a worksheet replace a Quran teacher?
No. A worksheet can organise revision, but a teacher should guide the learner's starting point and give pronunciation feedback. Ask about the teacher's relevant qualifications and teaching language before arranging lessons.
How can I support more than one child?
Keep each child's current level and practice goal separate. In the trial form, choose “More than one child” to enquire for siblings. Nearby individual lesson times can be requested; availability and each learner's plan must be confirmed separately.
Need help choosing a starting point?
Tell us what your child can read already and what you would like help with.
An enquiry is not a confirmed timetable or paid admission. Teacher availability, joining instructions and any paid plan must be agreed separately.
